No. I’m based in Susquehanna, PA and I meet local clients in person whenever they’d like, but the firm runs remotely for everyone else. I work with businesses and individuals throughout Pennsylvania and New York, and I can handle returns in 49 states. Oregon is the one exception, because it licenses tax preparers under its own separate rules. Sorry, Oregon. Everything else happens by phone, email, and a secure client portal.
Fifteen to twenty minutes on the phone or video. You tell me what your business does and where your books stand right now, I ask a few questions, and I tell you honestly what I’d recommend and what it would cost. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll say so. There’s no charge and no obligation.
For monthly bookkeeping, yes. I’m a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and keeping every client on one platform is what lets me work quickly and accurately. If you’re on something else, I’ll walk you through migrating, and if you’re not on anything at all, I’ll set it up for you.
It’s extremely common and it’s fixable. Cleanup is its own project, so I’ll quote it separately after I look at the account, then move you onto a monthly plan so it never happens again. You won’t get a lecture about it.
