Majority of people in the United States claim they don’t have enough money, or they don’t bring in enough income to sustain themselves.
A study by Payroll.org (Majority of Americans Live Paycheck To Paycheck – Forbes Advisor) showed that 78% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, thus proving Americans struggle to invest and save after paying their monthly expenses. What are some of the best solutions to combatting living paycheck to paycheck? For most it’s a lack of income.
How do you make more income? Let’s go through some ideas on how to make more money.
If you want to bring in more a higher income. While most people are already working their main job, one possibility could be to find a new job, one that offers a higher income. A better option might be to start something on the side, in a world full of people, it can be hard to trust others. Yet when it comes to employment, we trust our employers are giving us their best, the same way we give our best effort while working for them. Depending on the employer this might be the case, just remember a valuable lesson. When it comes to business, people rarely think with emotions, instead they think about what’s best for them.
So, besides your main form of income, there are side hustles. Full disclaimer though they will not make you money instantly, it will take time to develop your second form of income depending on what you choose to do.
Some reasonable things to try out:
- Social media / Affiliate marketing – growing your social media account, offering value to other people is a great way to boost your earning potential. And not just for a short time but for a long time, find your niche. Whether that be making dancing Tik Tok videos or offering advice on something your knowledgeable in. If you’re interested in it, there’s others interested as well. Just do a little research prior to starting anything.
- Create a blog – test your writing skills, writing for a blog can be fun especially when you’re interested in the topic you’re writing about. There’s immense potential when writing a blog, remember to-do research into your target market to make sure they’re interested in your topic and how to get them attracted towards your content. Note: It’ll take longer to monetize a blog compared to many other options.
- Creating a YouTube channel – video content has been thriving as people become further addicted to “scrolling.” Creating a channel that provides value in something you’re interested in is a great way to have fun with it as well. You can also choose to be anonymous as well and do a faceless YouTube channel although it’ll be harder to grow compared to people showing their face.
Regardless of what you choose to do, know nothing happens overnight. I recommend starting right at this very moment, if you are interested in creating other forms of income. Start now or you might never start, it can be as simple as creating ideas for your content or creating a plan for your channel, JUST START!!
